Scientific name: Tamiasciurus hudsonicus. Where it lives: Forests across many parts of Canada. What it eats: Conifer seeds and other foods. Cone scales can pile up where a squirrel feeds. Stored food helps it find something to eat when fresh supplies are harder to get.
