Habitat 67 is in Montréal's Cité-du-Havre. Québec's cultural heritage directory describes a complex of 354 prefabricated concrete modules of the same size. Originally, those modules formed 158 apartments. Several blocks can therefore belong to a single home. Their staggered arrangement creates terraces and passages between parts of the complex.
The drawing introduces this idea without counting all the real building's modules. Find a block above another and an open space. Then ask where your child would put a window or terrace in an imaginary home.
