The Biosphère occupies the former United States pavilion at Montréal's Expo 67. Designers Richard Buckminster Fuller and Shoji Sadao created its great spherical structure. In 1995, it became an environmental museum. One building can have several uses over time while keeping an easily recognizable outline.
The main lines of the drawing form triangles around the sphere. Invite your child to trace a few with a finger, then look at the whole structure. Ask them to name something they would like to understand better in their environment: water, plants, animals or city life.
