The Paix des Braves was signed on February 7, 2002, between the Cree Nation and Québec's government. In its twentieth-anniversary account, the Cree Nation Government describes the agreement as a new relationship based on partnership. It discusses participation in development of the territory and protection of the Cree language and cultural heritage.
The illustration symbolizes discussion between representatives without reproducing the signatories. Listening and finding an agreement can be a starting point for children. Keep the subject's scale clear, however: this is a relationship between governments, not simply a personal friendship. The page does not claim that the agreement resolved every difficulty.
