A little more to discover
Montréal hosted the Summer Olympics from July 17 to August 1, 1976. Teams from many countries took part in sports including athletics and swimming. The Canadian Olympic Committee preserves dates, results and stories. The race in the colouring page is an interpretation, not a reproduction of a particular event.
Start with familiar movements such as running, jumping or throwing. Discuss practice, effort and encouraging others, without making the conversation only about winning medals. Both athletes are fictional. The drawing reproduces no logo, mascot or portrait of a Games participant.
