A little more to discover

The limestone of Bonnechere Caves dates from the Ordovician and contains marine fossils, including shells. Those organisms lived before the cave passages formed. The two drawn motifs are deliberately enlarged and stylized. They are neither scientific identifications nor a record of a particular wall.
