Edmontosaurus

Edmontosaurus had a broad, beak-shaped snout. It gathered plants, then chewed them with teeth hidden inside its jaws.

Edmontosaurus regalis belongs to the hadrosaurs, often called duck-billed dinosaurs. Their beaks and teeth had different jobs. The specimen displayed in Ottawa in 1913 was the first dinosaur mounted for public exhibition in Canada.
