Dromaeosaurus
Alberta · Late Cretaceous

Not every dinosaur was a giant! Dromaeosaurus was a small meat-eater. It moved on two legs with its long tail held behind it.

A little more to discover
Dromaeosaurus albertensis is known from North America, including Canada. Its feathers here are reconstructed from evidence in related dinosaurs, not copied from a complete preserved coat belonging to this animal. A claw alone does not establish a precise hunting behaviour.
