A little more to discover

An eruption destroyed Nisga’a villages and caused many deaths. The lava beds are also a memorial. The park is jointly managed with the Nisga’a Nation. This drawing shows a present-day landscape; it reconstructs neither the disaster nor a story belonging to families.
